The present invention relates to a power supply apparatus having a management function to analyze the power output status in a power supply apparatus such as a switching mode power supply (SMPS), detect the internal state of the power supply apparatus, and control the inside of the power supply apparatus according to setting information, the power supply apparatus comprising: a PWM controller for generating a pulse width modulation signal for converting input commercial alternating current power to direct current power on the basis of the detection result of detecting the internal state; a power switching unit for switching the input alternating current power according to the pulse width modulation signal generated by the PWM controller; and a power management device for generating a power control signal according to the detection result of detecting the internal state of the power supply apparatus, converting the pulse width modulation signal to digital data, calculating the amount of power on the basis of the converted digital data, and controlling the power output according to the calculated power amount, the detection result of detecting the internal state, and an event setting value set through an external interface. |
