PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for autonomous adjustment of the output voltage, depending on the connection state of distributed power supplies.SOLUTION: A converter for distributed power supply has a step-up/down circuit for stepping up or down an input voltage from a distributed power supply, and a control unit for controlling the step-up/down circuit. The control unit has a circuit for superposing at least a signal, representing the identifier of own converter, on the output from the step-up/down circuit, and extracting the identifier from a signal superposed on the output from the step-up/down circuit. The control unit identifies the number of converters connected in series with the own converter and operating, from the identifier thus extracted, and switches control of the step-up/down circuit depending on the number of converters thus identified. |
