PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with a simple structure, capable of improving electrical connectivity when a member to be fixed is press-fitted into an insulation housing.SOLUTION: Because of a structure that a free-fit-guiding surface 11c4 for inserting a member to be fixed in a free-fit-guiding state, is provided on a press-fit locking part 11c2 formed in an insulation housing 11, and a clad-like part 11c8 being plastically-deformed according to the free-fit-guiding of the member to be fixed is provided on the free-fit-guiding surface 11c4, and the member to be fixed is held between the clad-like part 11c8 after plastic-deformation and a press-fit receiving surface 11c3 to bring the member to be fixed into a fixed state; the member to be fixed can be inserted into the press-fit locking part 11c2 of the insulation housing 11 in the free-fit-guiding state, the occurrence of shavings is significantly reduced by preventing an inner wall surface of the insulation housing 11 from being shaved, and the whole of the member to be fixed is stably and easily kept in a good posture by attaching firmly the member to be fixed to the press-fit receiving surface 11c3 of the press-fit locking part 11c2 of the insulation housing 11. |
