PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which users are unable to search for a route on a map desired to pass through. ! SOLUTION: A navigation device comprises: a map information storage unit that stores map information serving as information about a map; a current location information acquisition unit that acquires current location information serving as information indicative of a current location; a reception unit that receives passage area information serving as information indicative of a passage area which is an area on a map desired to pass through by a user; a route search unit that uses the map information, the current location information and the passage area information to search for a route from the current location indicated by the current location information and passing through all or a part of the passage area indicated by the passage area information, and acquires route information serving as information indicative of the route; and an output unit that outputs the route information |
