PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device driving apparatus with simplicity and a light weight capable of quickly turning an optical device for photographing an object toward objects in a wide range. ! SOLUTION: The optical device driving apparatus comprises: a driving motor 14 for driving rotation; a linear object 16 which has its one end fixed to the rotary shaft of the driving motor and the other end fixed directly or indirectly to an optical device 12 for photographing an object, so as to apply a pulling force for turning the optical device 12 around a rotation axis; and an elastic member 18 which applies to the optical device an elastic force for turning the optical device in a direction opposite to the pulling force generated by the twisting of the linear object around the rotation axis. !
