In an operation in which, as in leveling work when photographing, e.g., a building, composition is determined while a plurality of areas are enlarged and the relative positions of one image and another image are confirmed, complicated work is required to designate an enlarged area and remove designation repeatedly between the plurality of areas. Therefore, the present invention provides an imaging apparatus equipped with a display unit for displaying an image, and a display control unit for displaying, on the display unit, an enlarged view of a plurality of sub-regions within an image, and also displaying position information representing the positions of the plurality of sub-regions within the image. |
