<p>An apparatus and a method for testing a display panel are disclosed. The apparatus for testing a display panel according an embodiment of the present invention tests a plurality of display panels produced in a factory, and comprises: a panel transport table installed on a fixing plate of a main body comprising a rail and a horizontal cylinder for horizontally transporting a display panel to horizontally transport the display panel to a testing location for panel testing, when the display panel is mounted on an upper surface of the panel transport table; and a contactor contacting device to position a contactor pin block for applying a testing signal to a location vertically facing a panel pin block of the display panel transported by the panel transport table, and to vertically lower an upper pin fixing block by a single-acting cylinder to bring the contactor pin block and the panel pin block into an electrical contact with each other.</p> |
