PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a timing to backup an error in a scaler device only to a time when control information is sent from a main control part to a sub control part.SOLUTION: A sub control part includes: a backup area for backing up information relating to a game; and power supply means for supplying backup power to the backup area. Image information conversion means includes setting command execution means for performing various settings on the basis of setting commands from the sub control part. The sub control part executes a setting command to the image information conversion means and determines the set results. If the image information conversion means has an error, the generated content of error is registered to a volatile storage area to which no power is supplied by the power supply means. On the basis of having been inputted control information based on a progress of the game from the main control unit (step S312=Yes), the information stored in the volatile storage area is stored in the backup area (step S315). |
