PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active material which has higher capacity than a conventional electrode active material and is excellent in element strategy characteristics.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an active material used for a battery. The active material includes an atom of at least one kind selected from an alkali metal atom (A), a transition metal atom (B) and elements belonging to groups 14 to 17 in the periodic table. The molar ratio (B/A) between the alkali metal atom (A) and the transition metal atom (B) is 0.0000001 to 0.15. |
