PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish processing such as a browser being executed in the background even when discard of the processing during execution is requested.SOLUTION: An apparatus with an operation unit comprises: a creation unit for creating an application unit including a processing execution unit for executing processing, a display unit for performing display corresponding to the processing execution unit, and a control unit for controlling the processing execution unit and the display unit; and a discard request unit for performing a discard request for a processing execution unit and display unit created previously, when at least a new processing execution unit and display unit are created after the processing execution unit and display unit created previously. A control unit, in receiving the discard request, discards the display unit created previously when processing during execution in the processing execution unit created previously exists and keeps the processing execution unit created previously until the processing during execution finishes; and discards the processing execution unit created previously when the processing during execution in the processing execution unit created previously has finished. |
