METHOD FOR ENHANCING COOL FEELING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcohol beverage or non-alcohol beverage having enhanced cool feeling, especially an alcohol beverage or non-alcohol beverage capable of providing more conspicuous efficient "cool feeling" by enhancing cool feeling even when the content of material adding cool feeling is small, excellent in "cool feeling" and having refreshing taste with harmonic flavor.SOLUTION: An alcohol beverage or non-alcohol beverage having enhanced cool feeling is manufactured by adjusting the content of &bgr;-eudesmol in the beverage at 5 to 100 ppb and pH of the beverage at 3.5 to 4.5 in manufacturing the alcohol beverage or non-alcohol beverage containing &bgr;-eudesmol. The method provides an alcohol beverage or non-alcohol beverage excellent in "cool feeling" and having refreshing taste with harmonic flavor by minimizing effects on flavors other than cool feeling caused by containing a material adding cool feeling for adding conspicuous efficient "cool feeling".
