PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of performing color correction in which colors are harmonized as a whole, while keeping gradation continuity.SOLUTION: It is determined whether an inputted chromaticity value is included in a color gamut of output. A chromaticity value that is not included in the color gamut is classified into a first division by performing cluster analysis thereon, and a center G of gravity of the chromaticity value belonging to the first division is calculated. By moving the center G of gravity to a predetermined position (point P) in an outermost portion of the color gamut, the chromaticity value belonging to the first division is moved, a chromaticity value included in the color gamut is classified into a second division by performing cluster analysis thereon, and a center C of gravity of the chromaticity value belonging to the second division is calculated. On the basis of a moving distance, a moving direction of the center C of gravity and a relative positional relation between the center G of gravity and the center C of gravity, the chromaticity value belonging to the second division is moved. |
