SOLUTION: A projector 1 modulates light emitted from light sources (light source devices 30 and 710) and projects the modulated light, and includes a first processor (overall control processor 20) that performs general control of the projector 1, a second processor (video output processor 25) that performs the control of the light sources, and a storage unit 22 that stores a parameter for the second processor to control the light sources. The second processor starts the control of the light sources on the basis of the parameter stored in the storage unit 22 at the start-up, and when the parameter is changed, the first processor stores the changed parameter in the storage unit 22. !
