Provided are a system for selecting a communication partner and a body-side communicator in which a keyless entry system and a TPMS are switched with appropriate timing, and a wireless communicator mounted in a vehicle can be shared by both systems. An ECU (1) makes a determination that appropriately combines four conditions, the conditions including the operating state of a shift lever (22), the engaged/released state of a parking brake (23), the active state of the engine of the vehicle (100), and the result of an authentication process performed together with the wireless key (3), whereby the ECU (1) selects whether a wireless communication unit (12) communicates wirelessly with the wireless key (3) or a sensor unit (6). For example, when either the shift lever (22) is in a parking state or the engine is not active, the ECU (1) conducts wireless communication with the wireless key (3) for the keyless entry system, and when the shift lever (22) is not in a parking state and the engine is active, the ECU (1) conducts wireless communication with the sensor unit (6) for the TPMS. |
