摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method for crushing hard tungsten carbide (WC) scraps. The method includes: mixing aluminum with the hard tungsten carbide scraps which are the metal working tools such as chips, wires, bolts, and drills used in the pre-treatment of an acid leaching process for recycling tungsten and cobalt resources and are discarded after use; heating the mixture at a high temperature; and forming intermetallic compounds and oxides from the tungsten and cobalt contained in the hard tungsten carbide scraps at the same time. Accordingly, the method can prepare metal compounds and oxides in a sponge from and crushes the prepared metal compounds and oxides in the sponge form. The method employs a simple process and has small energy consumption and short processing time by enabling the tungsten and cobalt to react with aluminum in one melting process through only using the aluminum in the air to prepare and crush the intermetallic compounds and oxides in the sponge form. The present invention also relates to a method for recovering the tungsten and cobalt from hard tungsten carbide scrap powder by using alkaline leaching and acid leaching methods.</p>
