Disclosed are a method for manufacturing a display panel and a display panel thereby which can minimize a crack on a transparent electrode caused by a step between a window substrate and a black print by minimizing the thickness of the black print deposited on the window substrate. According to an embodiment, the method for manufacturing a display panel includes: a preprocessing step of preparing a window substrate and performing UV cleaning; a black print deposition step of depositing a black print by using a sputtering process along the edge of one side of the window substrate; a transparent electrode formation step of forming a transparent electrode on one side of the window substrate and the black print; and a bezel pattern formation step of forming a bezel pattern in a region corresponding to the black print of the transparent electrode.
