The apparatus comprising: a motorised base; a collection chamber received by the base; a lid element 5 having a feed tube; the lid element closing the collection chamber; a safety mechanism that cooperates with the lid element; wherein, with the lid element closing the collection chamber, the safety mechanism can be moved to a closed orientation that engages the lid element; the safety mechanism operatively associated with a cut-out switch for only enabling juicing 10 operation on the apparatus when the safety mechanism is in the closed orientation.</p> |
