PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault diagnosis apparatus for performing a fault diagnosis of a vehicle, capable of accurately performing the fault diagnosis irrespective of the type of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A fault diagnosis system 1 acquires normal data representing data obtained by a sensor mounted in each of a plurality of types of vehicles belonging to different classes when each vehicle is normal, from each of the vehicles (S110); analyzes distributions of a plurality of pieces of the normal data obtained from the vehicles of the plural types (S120); and generates a correction value for each vehicle type on the basis of the normal data distributions so that these normal data distributions are closer to one another (S150). With this configuration, the correction value for correcting data so that the normal data distributions are closer to one another is generated. Therefore, if the data for the fault diagnosis of each vehicle is corrected using this correction value, the fault diagnosis apparatus can accurately perform the fault diagnosis irrespective of the vehicle type. |
