PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which prevents deterioration of the productivity and increase of fan noise and enables improvement of cooling performance.SOLUTION: A cooling fan 5 is provided at an axial end part of a rotor. The cooling fan 5 integrally rotates with the rotor to generate cooling air. Multiple stator coils 12 are provided in a stator core, which is disposed at the radial outer side relative to the rotor, being arranged in a circumferential direction. Each stator coil 12 includes a coil end 12a protruding from an axial end surface of the stator core. An exhaust port which is at least partially positioned at the radial outer side relative to the coil end 12a and allows the cooling air to pass, and a recessed part 27 facing the coil end 12a in an axial direction are provided at a front side housing covering the cooling fan 5. |
