An air purification method, comprising the following steps: 1) producing atomized water droplets; 2) causing the atomized water droplets to enter a mixing chamber (1); 3) passing indoor air through the mixing chamber (1) at a high speed, so that particulates in the air are absorbed by the atomized water droplets; 4) passing the air into a separation chamber (2) to separate the water droplets from the air, and exhausting the cleaned air. An air purification device implementing the method, the device comprising an atomization device (4) producing atomized water droplets, a mixing chamber (1), a separation chamber (2) communicating with the mixing chamber (1) to conduct air-liquid separation, and a blower device (3) for blowing the air into the mixing chamber (1) at a high speed; a waste water collection container (5) is disposed at the bottom of the separation chamber (2), and an air outlet (21) is provided on the separation chamber (2). |
