The present invention is provided to manufacture a core (10) for forming an oil gallery of an engine piston having a penetration hole (11) which is penetrated upward and downward. The present invention provides an apparatus for manufacturing a core for forming an oil gallery of an engine piston, comprising: a lower mold (100) having a receiving unit (110) which is opened upward and receives sintering powder; an upper mold (200) which is installed on the upper side of the lower mold (100) to be able to ascend and descend and has a sintering punch (210) which enters the receiving unit (110) during descending; a molding pin (300) which is inserted into an insertion hole (120) to be able to ascend and descend and of which an upper end enters the receiving unit (110) when being ascended; and an ascending and descending unit (400) to raise and lower the molding pin (300) by being connected to the lower end of the molding pin (300). According to the apparatus for manufacturing a core of the present invention, a sintering process and the formation of a penetration hole can be executed at the same time by raising the molding pin in the sintering process and letting the molding pin enter the receiving unit. Thus, the production of a core can be easily performed and damage can be prevented. Accordingly, the productivity of a core can be improved.
