PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale holder capable of storing a scale, while protecting a measuring mechanism from an overload, namely an impact load, generated in a measuring plate. ! SOLUTION: A scale holder 1 includes: a plate-like foundation wall part 4 extending vertically; a bottom part 5 extending forward from the foundation wall part 4; a pair of left/right side wall parts 6 and 7 extending forward both left/right edge portions 4b and 4c of the foundation wall part 4; a storage area 11 as an area surrounded by the foundation wall part 4, the bottom part 5, and the pair of side wall parts 6 and 7; an opening part 10 formed from respective upper edge portions 4d, 6b, and 7b of the foundation wall 4 and the pair of side wall parts 6 and 7; and a case part 2 for holding the scale having a measuring plate and a measuring unit in the storage area 11.
