PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the misalignment of a valve head portion of a reed valve with respect to a discharge hole and form the valve head portion at a small diameter in a case of fixing the reed valve to a discharge hole formation member in which the discharge hole is formed.SOLUTION: A compressor comprises: a compression mechanism unit compressing a working fluid; and a discharge valve device 23a opening or closing a discharge hole 22a from which the compressed working fluid is discharged. The discharge valve device includes a reed valve 26a having one end fixed to a discharge hole formation member 18a in which the discharge hole is formed, and a valve head portion 34 opening or closing the discharge hole being formed on the other end; a concave cut portion 27a formed in the discharge hole formation member and storing the reed valve; and an annular valve seat 36a formed around the discharge hole in the cut portion. The cut portion includes a circular arc sidewall 37 located around the valve seat and concentric with a center of the valve seat, and a clearance is present between the entire sidewall 38 of the cut portion including this circular arc sidewall and the reed valve.
