PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation device capable of exhibiting sufficient attenuation force to oscillation such as an earthquake, and obtaining stable behavior. ! SOLUTION: A seismic isolation device 1 supporting a structure 100 from a floor surface 200 includes: a substrate 2 that is mounted on the floor surface 200; a moving body 3 that is mounted on the upper surface of the substrate 2 in a movable manner along the upper surface and is attached to the structure 100, and on which the self-weight of the structure 100 acts; and a viscoelastic body 5 whose one end part is fixed to the substrate 2, and other end part is provided in a movable manner integrally with the structure 100. !
