This capacitive physical quantity detection device is provided with a sensor unit, a control circuit, and a CV conversion circuit. The sensor unit has a moveable electrode, a first stationary electrode, and a second stationary electrode. The CV conversion circuit inputs a reference voltage, and outputs a voltage in accordance with the change in capacity. During a first interval, the control circuit inputs a first signal to the first stationary electrode and inputs a second signal having the phase opposite that of the first signal to the second stationary electrode, and during a second interval, inputs the reference voltage to the first stationary electrode and inputs the second signal to the second stationary electrode. |
