摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a weight measurement device using optical fibers, capable of precisely measuring a weight only using optical signals without electromagnetic waves by utilizing a type of receiving the optical signals transferred from the optical fibers arranged at a predetermined interval. According to the present invention, the weight measurement device using optical fibers comprises: an optical fiber part (11) in which a plurality of optical fibers (11a) are arranged at a predetermined interval; a light source (12) to transmit optical signals to the optical fibers (11a); an optical signal transmission part installed between the light source (12) and the optical fibers (11a), dividing the optical signals outputted from the light source (12), and the transmitting the divided optical signals to the optical fibers (11a); and a weight measurement part having a lattice plate (23) in which transmission areas (23a) and non-transmission areas (23b) are alternately formed to reintroduce the optical signals to the optical fibers (11a) by reflecting the optical signals outputted to the optical fibers (11a) therein, but to change the amount of the light reintroduced into the optical fibers (11a) when lifted by placing a mass thereon and having the bottom elastically supported by a spring (24). When the lattice plate (23) is descended by placing the mass, the descending displacement of the lattice plate (23) is calculated using the optical signals reintroduced into the optical fibers (11a) to calculate the weight of the mass.</p>
