A liquid containing vessel is adapted to be inserted along an insertion direction into a liquid ejecting apparatus having an apparatus side terminal section. The liquid containing vessel includes a liquid containing body that contains a liquid, and a casing section that contains the liquid containing body. The liquid containing body includes a contact section configured and arranged to electrically contact the apparatus side terminal section. The casing section includes a wall section positioned on an insertion direction side of the casing section in the insertion direction. The wall section defines a first opening through which the apparatus side terminal section is inserted to contact the contact section.

a liquid containing body that contains a liquid; and a casing section that contains the liquid containing body, the liquid containing body including a contact section configured and arranged to electrically contact the apparatus side terminal section, the casing section including a wall section positioned on an insertion direction side of the casing section in the insertion direction, and the wall section defining a first opening through which the apparatus side terminal section is inserted to contact the contact section.
