The present invention ensures stable clock synchronization even in a multipath fading environment as in non-line-of-sight communication, etc. A spread-spectrum clock signal in which the spectrum is spread by multiplying the clock signal by a spread code is generated on a transmission side, and a signal comprising an information signal and the spread-spectrum clock signal that are superposed one on top of the other is frequency-converted and the converted signal is transmitted wirelessly. On the receiving side, the wirelessly transmitted signal is received, the received signal is frequency-converted, and the converted signal is divided into two signal flows. Then, the clock signal is extracted by multiplying one of the two signals by a spread code and spreading the spectrum in reverse, and the one of the two signals is synchronized to the other of the two signals by using the extracted clock signal. |
