An open hose clamp runs into a tongue (12) at the end of the outer of the two overlapping sections of the clamping band. The tongue (12) has a toothed zone (13) which cooperates with a toothed zone (17) on the inner section of the clamping band in order to tighten the clamp. The inner section of the clamping band is provided with retaining clips (16) which grip at least part of the tongue (12). |
