Provided is a bulb-type LED lamp capable of high power and high output by improving the cooling effect of a cooling fan at the same time as improving the light emission efficiency of the LED. This LED lamp is provided with a base, a tubular heat sink having a through-hole extending along the central axis, a substrate arranged on the lateral surface of the heat sink, an LED element mounted on said substrate, a cooling fan arranged between the base and the heat sink, a housing covering the cooling fan, and a translucent cover which covers the substrate and the LED element, wherein the central axis of the cooling fan and the central axis of the heat sink are aligned with the central axis of the lamp, and the housing comprises a fan housing unit for housing the cooling fan and a connection unit connected to the fan housing unit. An air intake hole is formed in the fan housing unit, and air from the outside is guided through the air intake hole to the cooling fan. |
