PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus configured to prevent developer from being discharged when the amount of developer in a developer conveyance path is not increased, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: In a developing apparatus, an opening is formed on a partition wall so that the downstream of a first conveyance path and the upstream of a second conveyance path, which are adjacent to each other via the partitioning wall, may communicate with each other. A developer outlet is arranged in a predetermined height position on a side wall, which forms the second conveyance path, opposite the opening across the second conveyance member. The first and second conveyance paths include a first conveyance member and a second conveyance member, respectively. The first conveyance member is rotated upward from bottom between a rotation axis of the first conveyance member and the opening. Developer flow reduction means reduces developer flowing along the side wall toward the developer outlet, from the inside of the first conveyance path into the second conveyance path through the opening. |
