PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type clothing article allowing a user to easily passing the feet through leg openings and capable of covering the buttock parts by providing buttock covering parts with bulges.SOLUTION: A clothing article (10) includes buttock corresponding areas (75), and a pair of leakage-prevention cuffs having a first cuff elastic body (57) and a second cuff elastic body (57b). Each buttock corresponding area includes an innermost-side back waist elastic body (80), and a buttock cover part (78) enclosed by a buttock-corresponding elastic body (76) and the second cuff elastic body. Extension stress in a prescribed width of the buttock elastic part and extension stress in the prescribed width of the elastic area by the second cuff elastic body are lower than extension stress in the prescribed width of an elastic area by the innermost-side back waist elastic body.
