In the present invention, an internal combustion engine control device: calculates, on the basis of the cylinder wall temperature of the internal combustion engine or a parameter temperature that correlates with the cylinder wall temperature, an abnormal combustion suppression torque for suppressing abnormal combustion caused by self-ignition, the heat source thereof being a mixture of lubricating oil and supply fuel for the internal combustion engine; and controls the torque in the internal combustion engine so that such torque does not reach or exceed the abnormal combustion suppression torque.
