The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lubricant composition having exceptional lubricity under rigorous conditions, such as high temperature and/or high pressure. The present invention pertains to a lubricant composition containing a condensation product (A) obtained by condensing at least: an alkylene oxide adduct of a trihydric or higher polyhydric alcohol (a1) obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to at least one of the hydroxyl groups of a trihydric or higher polyhydric alcohol; a divalent or higher polycarboxylic acid (a2), or a precursor of a divalent or higher polycarboxylic acid (a2); and at least one among a monovalent carboxylic acid (a3), a precursor of a monovalent carboxylic acid (a3), and a monohydric alcohol (a4). |
