<p>An information providing apparatus (110) provides to a user (130), an upgrade date candidate based on information on the provider side, while the information on the provider side of service such as a planned backup date and a planned restore date of a virtual environment (VM) is kept confidential. As a result, since upgrade is performed on a date suitable for the upgrade, based on the information on the provider side, downtime of the virtual environment due to the upgrade can be reduced and increases in maintenance management work can be suppressed. Since the information on the provider side is not directly known by the user (130) of the service, the security of the provider side can be ensured and stable provision of the service can be achieved.</p> |
