<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of coping with on-fail of a solenoid valve without a fail-safe valve.SOLUTION: When the shift position is at the neutral range (at step 1, yes) and a failure detection part determines that a first engagement mechanism is in a state of being engaged while supplying fluid pressure due to the failure of a solenoid valve (at step 2, yes), a control part of the power transmission device prevents the power of a power source from being transferred to an output part as well as controls a plurality of engagement mechanisms so as to be in a lock state in the backing side which stops the rotation of the output part in a backing direction(at step 4).</p> |
