<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a battery mounting structure of a motor vehicle, which achieves excellent battery cooling performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the battery mounting structure 10, a pair of right and left side frames 38 provided in a battery frame 36 are attached to both end portions in a vehicle body width direction, of a battery module 12. The pairs of side frames 38 are formed in a cylindrical shape with both front and rear ends opened, and airflow W generated due to running of a vehicle and introduced through a front end opening 46 into the cylinder is exhausted from a rear end opening 48. Since heat of the battery module 12 is removed by the airflow W generated due to running of the vehicle, an excellent battery cooling performance is obtained. Moreover, since the pair of side frames 38 extend in a vehicle body front and rear direction, the airflow W generated due to running of the vehicle is straightened by passing through the inside of the side frames 38, and thereby, excellent driving performance (straight line stability, in particular) of the vehicle is achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
