<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and program capable of improving the quality of an image while saving color material. <P>SOLUTION: A compound machine to which an image processing apparatus according to this invention is applied is provided with: a storage part for storing a data table which associates a color value and a saving ratio showing the degree of reducing the usage of color material of plural colors to be used by an image formation part; a saving rate calculation part 13 which calculates a saving ratio corresponding to the color value of each of plural pixels constituting image data, using the data table; and a saving processing part 14 for executing saving processing of determining a density value of each of plural colors (CMYK) to be used by the image formation part, using the saving ratio corresponding to the pixel, with respect to each pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
