<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washstand with illumination capable of improving impression by decreasing the projection dimension of a mirror cabinet from the front surface as far as possible while effectively illuminating the front surface and its periphery of the mirror cabinet.SOLUTION: In a washstand with illumination, an illumination device A configured so that a light source 1 is provided at an end part of a plate-like light guide member 2 and an outgoing part 3 for emitting light from the light source 1 is provided, is mounted on a washstand 7a. The washstand 7a includes a mirror cabinet 74 on an upper part of a washbowl 72. The illumination device A contains the light guide member 2 and the light source 1 in a housing 6, and an illumination cover 63 is fitted to an end part of the housing 6. In the illumination device A, a part of the illumination cover 63 is projected forward from a mirror 73 of the mirror cabinet 74 on an upper part of the mirror cabinet 74, and a part of the housing 6 is located in a rear of the mirror 73, so that the outgoing part 3 transmits the light through the illumination cover 63 to be irradiated forwards and downwards.</p> |
