AN ONLINE INCREMENTAL ASSOCIATIVE FEATURE CONSTRUCTION METHOD VIA MAXIMIZING ENTROPY AND APPARUTUS PERFORMING THE SAME

An online incremental associative feature construction method is performed in an online incremental associative feature construction apparatus. An online incremental associative feature construction which constructs online incremental associative feature used for a sorter based on sorted data, includes (a) a step of receiving input data corresponding to at least part of the data and estimating the class of the input data based on a predetermined associative feature; (b) a step of extracting a candidate associative feature of the associative feature based on the input data when the estimated class is not matched to the real class of the input data; (c) a step of renewing the predetermined associative feature based on the extracted candidate associative feature. Therefore, sorting estimate and learning are carried out based on the sorted data. Thereby, features can be constructed on the sorted data.
