CATENARY TYPE STEEL RISER AND BUCKLING PREVENTING STRUCTURE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a buckling preventing structure of a simple catenary type steel riser which comprises a buckling preventing part in a touch down zone(TDZ) where the riser meets the seabed to prevent buckling of the riser due to compression force. The buckling preventing part is installed in the touch down zone(TDZ) where the riser meets the seabed to prevent buckling of the riser due to compression force, so economical efficiency of a simple catenary type is good in the deep sea, installation is easy, and buckling of the riser is effectively prevented.
