<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from feeling displeasure at a touch operation during the display of a three-dimensional video in the case of using an operation input device to be brought into contact with a display face so as to be operable. <P>SOLUTION: The display control device including a touch panel for controlling three-dimensional display and two-dimensional display is configured to determine whether a current mode is a three-dimensional mode or a two-dimensional mode (S602). In the case of the three-dimensional mode, a proximity sensor mode is set, and a plurality of detection electrodes are coupling-controlled (S604). In the case of the two-dimensional mode, the proximity sensor mode is set, and the plurality of detection electrodes are separation-controlled (S606). A touch determination part determines whether a finger of a user has approached or touched a display part according to the detection results of the detection electrodes and the comparison of thresholds.
