<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying insect pest catcher exhibiting high attractive effect and capturing efficiency to flying insect pests, especially small flies, for a long period of time if a highly wetting chemical holder is used, having a simple structure, and easy to use. <P>SOLUTION: In the flying insect pest catcher, the chemical holder with a liquid chemical composition held in the wet state in a non-woven fabric carrier is housed in a tray, and a lid with an opening is fitted to a hollow top of the tray. The chemical composition contains an insecticidal ingredient, an attractive ingredient and a moisturizing ingredient.
