<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a stable retention force of a rear end edge guide and a smooth operation without giving a sense of incompatibility by increasing rigidity in the two-point mounting area of a guide rail. <P>SOLUTION: A recording material feeding cassette includes a first cassette section 49 which is a side to be mounted to a recording device, a second cassette section 51 assembled so as to be stretchable with the first cassette section, a guide rail 39 that extends in the stretching direction with one end fixed on the near side of the second cassette section and the other end supported slidably on the upper surface of the first cassette section, the rear end edge guide 55 engaged with the guide rail to be slidable in the stretching direction, and a spacer block 47 disposed in a space formed between the guide rail 39 and the bottom of the second cassette section 51. The spacer block 47 moves with the rear end edge guide 55 in an integrated fashion, stops at a position where it abuts against the first cassette section 49, and separates from the rear end edge guide 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
