<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing circuit for luminescent devices which can prevent degradation of luminance resolution and perform nonlinear correction even with a simple circuit configuration, without increasing the number of bits of input data. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel circuit 12 is composed of a capacitor 9, an inverter 1, an FET 2, an FET 3, an FET 4, a light emitting element 5 composed of a light emitting diode, etc., an FET 6, an FET 7, a capacitor 9, and a capacitor 10. A driver circuitry 11 is composed of a constant current source 8. A luminance level of the light emitting element 5 is varied in accordance with a variation of pulse width of a pulse output from the inverter 1. A luminance signal is held in the capacitor 9. The signal in which nonlinear characteristics is given to a linear part of triangular wave is input into Vsig. The inverter 1 determines output pulse width based on a difference between a luminance signal and a nonlinear waveform signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
