The mower (1) has a height adjustment axle (8) running transverse to a longitudinal direction. A supporting structure (2) comprises an axle bearing at the bottom, where the axle bearing is open in the longitudinal direction and the axle is mounted in the bearing. A pivot arm is connected with a lever arm (10) via a connecting element i.e. rigid connecting rod, and the lever arm is attached to the axle. An operating lever (12) is pivotally fixed at the lever arm, where the operating lever is directly or indirectly engaged in a detent (14) in a final assembled state.
