<p>A pocket hand tool comprising; an elongate handle portion 1 having two opposite lateral sides S1, S2, and a trapezoidal-shaped (or parallelogram-shaped) tool carrier plate 2 rotatably mounted on the elongate handle portion, the tool carrier plate having a peripheral array of tool heads (13A-13C, 14), the tool carrier plate having a first rotary position in which the tool heads are in a stowed configuration (figure 3) and having further rotary positions (figures 4-6) in which the tool heads are deployed, where the tool heads can protrude beyond both lateral sides. The tool carrier plate has an exposed major surface portion which can be manipulated by the users thumb, so that the pocket hand tool may be used one handed. The tool carrier plate and handle may be overlying parallel plates which pivot around a snap-fit bushing 3, 4. The utility tool handle portion may have a carabiner clip 5 and the multi-tool heads could be any suitable tool such as screwdrivers and wire strippers.</p> |
