<p>A housing structure 10 having at least 3 house pairs positioned side by side, each house pair having a first and second house 12, 14 each having an open side 16 and adjacent blind sides 18, upper roofs 22, displaced from the blind sides and lower roofs 24 common to the first and second house in a pair, the pair having lateral sides (20, fig. 2) extending from respective open sides of the first and second houses. The roofs can be used as gardens or courtyards divided by fences (36, fig. 2) and there may be a spiral staircase between lower and upper roofs. There may be an intermediate roof level between upper and lower roofs. The inner house pairs may have an interior room that is surrounded on all sides, the room having a light-aperture 32 in the roof to allow light to enter, conforming to building regulations. The upper roofs may be a flat continuous slab extending over the at least 3 house pairs.</p> |
