<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a power transmission device that can transmit the power of an engine and the power of an MG (motor generator) to the wheel axle of the vehicle, while simplifying the configuration of the power transmission device. <P>SOLUTION: A power transmission device 11 that can transmit the power of the engine 12 and power of the MGs 13 and 14 to the wheel axle 28 includes: a high-gear mechanism 32 provided between an engine input shaft 17 and an output shaft 26; a low-gear mechanism 33 provided between a motor input shaft 18 and an output shaft 26; a first clutch 23 that connects and/or disconnects power transmission between the engine input shaft 17 and the motor input shaft 18; a second clutch 24 that connects and/or disconnects the power transmission between the low-gear mechanism 33 and the output shaft 26; a third clutch 25 that connects and/or disconnects the power transmission between the high gear mechanism 32 and the output shaft 26, and is provided with a lock prevention mechanism to prevent the first clutch 23 from transmitting the torque equal to or more than the prescribed value by sliding the first clutch 23, when the torque that acts on the first clutch 23 becomes equal to or more than the prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
