<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood for a traffic light that uses electric power generated by a solar cell as an electric power source and to enable stable power generation in such weather conditions or hours that sunshine can not be expected and power generation sufficient and corresponding to the amount of solar radiation in fine weather, while saving both cost and space. <P>SOLUTION: The hood 1 for a traffic light is provided with: a transparent hood body 5 having a transparent part 51a that allows penetration of sunlight L2 (a curved transparent hood body 51); and a double-sided light-receiving solar cell 6 attached to the face on the signal light 3 side of the transparent part 51a of the transparent hood body 51. The double-sided light-receiving solar cell 6 generates power by receiving light L1 from the signal light 3 on its signal light side face 61x, and also generates power by receiving sunlight L1 penetrated through the transparent part 51a of the transparent hood body 51 on its face 61y on the opposite side. By attaching this hood 1 for a traffic light on a traffic light main body 4 as eaves for the signal light 3, electric power can be generated by both the light L1 from the signal light and the sunlight L2 without installing an additional solar cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
